In this job I was responsible with calculating product volume requirements for various landscaping projects such as building patios, retaining walls, walkways and more.
This position will be beneficial to me as a future professional because it gave me invaluable experience working with a wide variety of client types. I was able to consistently create strong customer relationships and facilitate an optimal landscape shopping experience.

I was responsible for a wide variety of carpentry related tasks. Working at heritage park was very unique and involved many old fashioned carpentry projects as opposed to modern framing. I had the opportunity to work on the maintenance of the S.S. Moyie, the restoration of the rare Colonist train car, constructing railway platforms and much more!
This position provided me with a unique skill set that gives me an edge over the competition. I learned a lot about the value of hard labour, and the physical toll it takes on the body. I personally endured a back injury whilst working as an apprentice carpenter at Heritage Park. As a result of this, it inspired and motivated me to return to school so that I could help other people who are experiencing the same debilitating pain that I once felt.

This was my first job, and I continue to work at Fishers Soccer Shack on a casual basis while in school. When working, I am responsible for many taks. These include placing team orders, heat pressing team uniforms, fitting individuals for soccer shoes and protective equipment, and other customer service related tasks.
This job has taught me a lot about the organizational side of business and the logistics of placing orders and working with suppliers. It has also taught me how to create lasting customer relationships in order to increase the likelihood of customers returning in the future to shop again. My ability to create meaningful, genuine customer relationships gives me an edge over others. This skill will help me in the future by being able to establish a deeper level of understanding for my patients.
