Applying to Community College for a Transfer Degree
Before you apply to any college, you should research your abilities, interests, and each prospective school. Utilize the counseling center, teachers, coaches, and your family to help you decide to which schools you will apply.
Schools now have their applications available on their websites. If you need help, stop by the career center.
You must indicate that you intend to pursue a "Transfer Degree" on the application.
Once you have completed the application online, you may need to mail in an application fee (if it is required you will see it listed). You may also need to have the guidance secretary mail a copy of your transcript to the school.
Professional Technical Certificates & Degrees
It is important to note that most of the credits do not transfer to a college or university.
If you plan to attend a community college to take Occupational Specific Courses, you should follow the same helpful information that is provided for Technical Colleges.
