Education
I graduated from the Mount in 2017 with a BS in Biology.
I am currently working on finishing up my PhD at Duquesne University in evolutionary biology.
Describe your research to a general audience.
I study the relationship between mating systems and protein evolution in primates using both computer and laboratory-based experiments.
What do you enjoy about research?
I like doing research because I get to work toward answering a question that no one else has ever answered or maybe even asked before.
What would you like to share with the MAC community?
To anyone considering graduate school, know that it is probably more accessible than you think! PhD (and even some masters programs) in most fields come with a tuition waiver and a stipend.
