The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the voice of the student body by providing Mount Aloysius students with representation, services, advocacy, governing the Registered Student Organizations, promoting the core Mercy values of service, justice, mercy and hospitality given by the Sisters of Mercy within the college structure. It is our purpose to cultivate strong student leadership, to build connections between students, faculty and administration, and to better our campus community.
SGA works to collaborate with offices and organizations, advocate for student interests to administration and the board of trustees, manage involvement, provide roundtables about relevant topics, and increase MAC spirit. The group consists of a President, Vice President of Service, Vice President of Activities, Secretary, Treasurer, Class Senators, Commuter Senator, and International Senator.
