All current Mount Aloysius College students are permitted to have motor vehicles on campus; however, all vehicles must be registered with the Campus Safety Office every academic year. This includes both commuters and residential students.

Students can apply for their parking pass using the form linked above. Passes cost $60. You can pick up your parking pass in the Campus Safety office in Ihmsen Hall #112. It must be displayed on the lower left area of the rear window.
Any student using Financial Aid to pay for a permit must register at the Campus Safety Office located in Ihmsen Hall Office #112
In the event a student changes their vehicle during the academic school year, they can obtain a new parking pass for that vehicle without payment. A new parking pass can be obtained by sending the new vehicle information and student information to CampusSafety@mtaloy.edu. The new pass can be picked up at the Campus Safety office located in Ihmsen Hall #112.
Any vehicle parked on campus must be registered with Campus Safety and bear a valid parking permit.

Any vehicle driven or parked on the College property is done so at the risk of the owner/operator. The College is not responsible or liable for damage or loss of any vehicle or its contents.
Fines are paid at the Business Office located in the Administration Building office # 124.
Tickets will be issued to all vehicles parked in violation of the rules.
The accumulation of 2 or more tickets will result in a hold being placed on your account. A hold on your account will disable you from registering for the next semester, view your grades or add/drop courses. Fines must be paid to remove the hold.
The accumulation of 3 or more tickets will result in a student conduct hearing.
Cars may be towed at owner's expense.
To start an appeal for a ticket please click here to access the Parking Ticket Appeal Form. The appeal will be reviewed by the MAC Parking Appeal Committee. You will be notified by email by the committee whether your appeal has been approved or denied. Please allow up to 10 business days for a response. Only one ticket per semester may be eligible to be voided.
It is the responsibility of the student to know these regulations. Lack of knowledge of these parking regulations will not be justification for an appeal.

Students who require temporary or long-term parking accommodations (unless using a PA issued tag, and parking in a signed space), must contact Health Services to request such arrangements and provide appropriate accommodation documentation.
Only Health Services will approve parking accommodations for students. Once approved, the Director of Student Health and Wellness Center will notify Campus Safety, who will assist the student in identifying appropriate parking slots and place any signage.
Parking in college parking lots may be restricted or prohibited as required for maintenance and snow removal.
Typically, a Snow Emergency for Parking (SEP) decision will be made by no later than 3:00 p.m. for the parking restriction to go into effect at 10:00 p.m. that evening. Times may vary due to changing weather conditions.

The Campus Safety Department will issue parking citations for any vehicle parked in violation of the SEP rules. The citation amount is $75.00. If you drive / own / use a vehicle, it is your responsibility to find out if a SEP has been declared and follow the instructions.
Multiple infractions of the parking policy can result in referral to the student conduct process.
Students should park their vehicles temporarily in any available parking spaces marked for student use. Once a lot is cleared of snow, students may begin parking in that lot once again.
