Campus Safety Mission Statement

The Mount Aloysius College Department of Campus Safety seeks to provide the College community with a safe environment in which instruction, learning, and recreation activities may take place for the benefit of the students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

The Mount Aloysius College Department of Campus Safety will provide a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment that reduces crime, builds trust, and enhances the quality of our campus community. Campus Safety will provide a high standard of professional customer service to each member in our community.

As the foremost guardians of the College, Campus Safety is committed to safeguarding its community members, assets, and social environment.  This commitment is upheld through proactive strategies and deep integration within the community. 

Campus Safety Student Learning Outcomes

Use Support Services: Students will be encouraged to participate in Campus safety programs and activities to improve their awareness of personal safety measures at Mount Aloysius College.  Students will learn about various safety topics including drugs, alcohol and awareness.

Attend Events that Address Important Social, Economic, or Political Issues:  Students and community members will learn to socially engage in environments that feel safe and comfortable due to Campus Safety presence and engagement.

Relaxing/Socializing:  Students will learn to socially engage in environments that feel safe and comfortable due to Campus Safety presence and engagement.
