Outcomes from My EM Project and Rationale

Using authentic materials to teach a foreign language has been shown to increase motivation while exposing learners to real language. Many language instructors struggle with finding good authentic materials and knowing what to do with them. Here, I have provided some samples for four different genres: Cartoons/Comics , Poetry/Song Lyrics , Magazine Articles , and Short Stories

In addition to the authentic materials, I have provided some lesson plans and activities for your students. Most of the activities are geared towards novice-high/intermediate-low students, but they can be adjusted as needed.
