Assessment Evidence

The FLT 808 Assessment course in the MAFLT program allowed me to learn the aspects to assessment building. While enrolled in this course, I learned the importance of reliability and validity when assessing students comprehension and knowledge of the content. Additionally, I became aware of the precision that must occur in the creation of reliable questions to test students. Furthermore, I learned to use ACTFL standards and to analyze my students' proficiency based on ACTFL proficiency levels. Below is a midterm assessment I created for a novice low Spanish class. This is a comprehensible exam containing questions regarding information learned in the first ten weeks of a Spanish one course.
