LANGUAGE PROGRAM EVALUATION PROJECT
Excellence in teaching happens in the context of healthy program that has continuity and change as well as vision to become better (TELL Framework). To enrich our understanding of the focal points and the current operation of the program, we began our investigation by describing the key features of the program such as context, curriculum, and expected outcomes and mission.
We evaluated our focused areas of teacher development and curriculum effectiveness by analyzing a variety of data that includes the transcript of three interviews with important members of the program. Following the data analysis through mixed-method research, we reported our findings and made recommendations to the program based on those findings. Information that would specifically identify the interview participants or the school have been removed from our reports.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY REPORT
This is the Executive Summary of our program evaluation. These findings and recommendations were shared with the program members who had graciously collaborated our investigation through the participation of interviews.
PROGRAM EVALUATION - FULL REPORT
This is our full evaluation report which includes program description, literature review, methods, and program needs analysis sections that became the basis of our recommendations to the program. Some of the major challenges that the field of foreign language teaching faces today (Swanson & Mason, 2017) were also emergent in our data analysis.
