Abstract

This paper aims to help Ancient Greek teachers to understand and apply Communicative Language Teaching to their classroom. The author’s main experience and focus is Koine period Greek and theological education. The paper reviews the history of language pedagogy and gives advice and resources for those wishing to employ the most contemporary methods to their ancient language classroom.
