Teaching Videos

In My Classroom

In the first sample of my teaching, my assistant teacher and I engage in a modified TRPS method, reading a fairly complex story in Greek and making the content comprehensible to the audience, the students of the Lutheran Bible Institute, Lilongwe, Malawi.

In the sample below, I model the learning strategy "Pronounce, Understand, Communicate" to my Lutheran Bible Institute students, using the famous verse John 3:16.

This older sample from 2013 below shows three stand-by methods I use in my classroom: Total Physical Response (TPR), Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS), and Where Are Your Keys (WAYK).

Over a hundred more videos are on YouTube showing clips from classroom activities. I had taped these as review tools for my students and posted them online as a way to attract and grow a community of practice around CLT Greek.
