Heres a little about me...

I grew up in Auckland with my big crazy family - I am one of SIX siblings! After completing NCEA I went on to complete a year in Event Management at AUT before deciding it wasn't for me. I had worked with kids since my first job and was passionate about it so decided to try teaching. I loved it and ended up graduating with my Bachelors in Education from Auckland University in 2018. I was blessed with a beautiful daughter Ashton along the way who is now 5 and starting school, so know exactly how the parents in my class feel with their babies starting school! Ashton and I love getting outdoors, swimminng, reading, baking and of course eating!

I have worked at Manurewa South School since starting my teaching career and honestly wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I love the school atmosphere, the staff and community we serve. I am passionate about holistic education, giving children opportunities to thrive and space to grow. I also love technology and believe that in this ever changing career force it is our responsibility to educate them not just on the past but on the possibilities of the future!

I am the POD leader for new entrant/year one and am also the AC3 leader for our school.
