Asian Student Exchange Program

Asian Student Exchange Program

The AJET project (Advanced Joint English Telecommunication), started in 2000 by collaboration between the Ministry of Education and KH Education Bureau, is now in its 24th year. Co-founded by Professor Chen Nianxing and Professor Kageto Makoto, it features two key events: the annual World Youth Meeting in Nagoya, Japan, and the Asian Student Exchange Program (ASEP) held in Kaohsiung city each December. AJET combines English-themed presentations with ICT, fostering cross-border friendships and expanding global perspectives among students in the Asia-Pacific region.

ASEP in Smvhs

SMVHS has participated in Asian Student Exchange Program (ASEP)  for more than 20 years. We had worked with Nara Ikuei High School, Japan, and won Platinum Awards. In 2021, we also worked with  Hatyaiwittayalai High School from Thailand and won Gold Prize. Through cultural exchanges and academic presentations, our students enhance their English ability and broaden their global horizon.

2019 International Program

We have International Exchange Society in our school. It's an interested way to talk to foreigners.  Not only can training your english ability but also can make friends with other students.
