Reading:

We will finish our whole class novel, Bud, Not Buddy, to review various comprehension and vocabulary strategies.

MATH:

By Monday, all students need to have 4 sections of their city colored and ready to cut out. Please ask your child their status on the project. We will build our 3D models on Monday.

Writing

Grammar next week we will focus on adverbs.
We finished up our Newspapers on Friday this week. The kids did a great job and had a lot of fun working on this project. This will be our last writing project for the year!

Unit Studies:

We will be wrapping up our study of the American Revolution.

Performance Times for Talent Show

Grades 3–5: 9:00–11:00 AM
Grades K–2: 1:15–2:15 PM

A few important reminders for performers:

All props and costumes should either be worn to school or brought in a bag
Students will need to be able to put on and manage their costumes and props completely independently.
Please do not send makeup to school with your child.

Parents are welcome to attend the performance if their child is participating in the talent show. We are looking forward to a fun-filled day and are excited to see all of the wonderful talent we have at Willowdale!
