Wheeler Community,
It is hard to imagine that it is the end of the 1st quarter of this school year. We have seen students do an incredible job day in and day out of working incredibly hard and being outstanding citizens in their classroom.
Thank you so much to all of you who took time to come to Wheeler in the past week for parent teacher conferences. We put such a high value on the partnership with our community members, and parent teacher conferences are such a big part of that relationship between home and school. We hope that you have a fantastic fall break and look forward to continuing the amazing things happening every day here at school in the second quarter of the school year!

I wanted to make you all aware that we are seeing an issue of parent emails going into a "Quarantine" filter for some reason. I have had conversations with some parents about teachers not responding to emails and want you to know that it is a technology issue. We are coaching teachers to please pull up and check emails that are going into that Quarantine Summary (which typically is junk mail), because parent emails have been at times going in there. We are again talking about this as a staff on Monday morning!
Please know our school procedure and expectations is to acknowledge a parent email within 24 hours of a business day. Let me know if you have any questions.
