Chuck Hagel Symposium in Public Service
Several of our AP US History students had the opportunity to go to the Chuck Hagel Symposium in Public Service. Students were able to meet and ask questions of former Senator and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, as well as engage in breakout sessions examining fields/careers with a connection to public service with other students from the metro area.
Bryan Botkin was selected as our Chuck Hagel Scholar and was awarded a dual enrollment scholarship for next school year.
One picture is of our students with Chuck Hagel, the other is of the Chuck Hagel Scholars, which includes Bryan Botkin.
Names of individuals in the picture with Senator Hagel from left to right are as follows:
Jasmine Sparrock, Sidney Matthais, Lauren Linton, Grant Mitera, Senator Hagel, Bryan Botkin, Keelan Edwards, Matt Beiriger.
This free event will feature colleges from across the state, region, and country to help you find the right fit.
