These kids had a garage sale over the summer and raised enough money to be able to feed the veterans at the Victory Apartments. The Victory apartments give homeless veterans a safe place to call home.
AFJROTC Spaghetti Dinner Highlights on September 23 at the American Legion - Post 374
This past Sunday at our local legion post 374, AFJROTC cadets held a spaghetti feed. This fundraiser helped us raise money for our military ball, as well as necessary uniform items. On top of the spaghetti feed, we also held a raffle for a 55 inch smart T.V.
The raffle was announced later that night with the winner being Edward Hainowski, uncle of Bailey Hainowski. This was a very successful spaghetti feed as we raised over $3,000. We look forward to holding future events later this month.
Millard South competed at the Doane University Trimathlon on Thursday, September 27th. The math contest consisted of an individual written exam, extreme team challenge, and math bowl. Congratulations to the team of Hannah Pokharel, Vivian Nguyen, and Julia Ames who finished 1st in the extreme team challenge!
Millard South Student Council put on the 2018 Out of this World homecoming dance. We had a great turn out! Thank you to everyone who came.
