This is a non-performance music course. Areas to be explored include the different elements of music, music history and cultures, and listening techniques, and recording and producing music with a digital audio workstation. These studies will prepare and assist in developing the student’s musical abilities for a lifelong enjoyment of music and a foundation to continue studying and creating music.

This is a non-performance music course and is a continuation of General Music 6. Students will explore vocal technique, music theory, history and cultures, and listening techniques. These studies will prepare and assist in developing the student’s musical abilities for future music ensembles and his or her role as a music consumer.
