7th Grade Art Foundations

Art 7 is an elective course designed to further expose students to an exploration of 2D and 3D media and techniques while focusing on composition. This class is designed to encourage students to think critically and problem solve as an artist while using different mediums and techniques.

8th Grade Sculpture/Pottery

Pottery & Sculpture 8 is an elective course designed to further expose students to an exploration of 3-dimensional media and techniques. In this class, students are given opportunities for creative thinking and problem solving as an artist through 3D experiences. which may include, clay, plaster, paper-mache, cardboard, and wire.

8th Grade Drawing

Drawing 8 is an elective course designed to encourage students to think critically and problem solve as an artist as they explore a variety of drawing skills. In this class, students will explore self-expression through 2D experiences.

Mrs. Andersen has been a teacher for 15 years. She is married & has 2 kids. When Mrs. Andersen is not teaching, she likes to create, read and spend time outside with her family and dogs.

Art with HeART

Our Art Club meets twice a week for 5 weeks starting in October. This year we will be raising funds for a local charity by creating and selling polymer clay pens to the student body!
