TEACHER AND STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

Dear Cather Families,

On behalf of the Cather Booster Club, we would like to invite you to be involved in the 2026 Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week at Cather Elementary School.

This year’s theme is: Thank You for Helping Us Bloom!

We would love your help in making the week special. There are several ways to participate:

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

We will meet on Friday, May 1st from 3:30–4:30 PM to decorate and set up for the week.

DONATE ITEMS

1. Gift Card Donations

$10 Target Corporation gift cards and/or $5 Starbucks gift cards. Donations should be delivered to the Cather Front Office by Thursday, April 30th.
Staff Gift Card Donations

2. Stock the Staff Lounge
Help us provide snacks and treats for staff throughout the week. Donations should be delivered to the Cather Front Office by Thursday, April 30th.

3. Tuesday Lunch
Help us provide lunch for teachers and staff on Tuesday. We are looking for donations to complete the meal. Items should be delivered to the Cather Front Office by 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 5th.

MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS

If you prefer to contribute financially, donations are also welcome and will be used only for Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week expenses such as food and snacks. Contributions can be sent via Venmo to @Sarah-Moore-137 (last 4 digits: 3897). Please include “Cather Staff Appreciation” in the note.

Every contribution—whether time, items, or a monetary donation—helps us show our appreciation for the incredible Cather staff. Thank you for supporting our school community and helping us make this a meaningful week for our teachers and staff!

Thank you again for supporting these students in this event! We enjoy it every year, and are always blown away by the talent and enthusiasm! We hope to see some of our 4th grade students back again next year as contestants, and can't wait to see what our new middle school students do with SLICE WARS next year!
