Our camping trip is next week, and we have some important housekeeping details for you. Please read through the list below carefully as we do need some information from you.
Students must arrive at CHB by 8am. (Maybe plan to get here at 7:45am to be on the safe side.) Please remain with your child until there is school staff available to supervise. Teachers will put them in order of their assigned bus seating and as soon as everyone is boarded, we will leave for our camping adventure.
We ask students wear their blue tie-dye t-shirts on Thursday, 6/4. Can't find it? Wear a blue shirt.
Please remember that students should not pack or bring electronics/tech with them. This includes smartwatches, kindles, air pods, cell phones, tablets, etc.
Food is not permitted. This includes gum and candy. We don't want any unwanted critters in the cabins!
How will your child get home on Friday, 6/5, when we return? Please complete this Dismissal Plan Google Form by end of day, Monday, 6/1. (If you do not complete the Google Form, your child's usual dismissal plan will be applied, i.e. aftercare students will be sent to aftercare; bussers will go home on the bus.)
If you have any questions, please read through the FAQs below. If you can't find the answer to your question, email your child's homeroom teacher.
Thank you for taking the time to read through all of this information, for completing the Dismissal Plan Google Form, and for your continued support.
The Camping Trip Packet was given to students on Friday, 5/8, to bring home. In the packet there are some things that need to be sent back to us and some things to keep at home. Please see below for more details:
To be filled out and returned by Friday, May 22nd:
Permission slip (green form-filled out/signed) along with the $50 fee (cash only). Please note departure time is 8 am.
Medical form (2-sided yellow form) must be signed and returned for every student. You must circle yes or no if your child is allowed acetaminophen or ibuprofen and list any medicine that they will need to take during the trip. As stated on the medical form, any prescription medications must be hand-delivered to Nurse Briana by Friday, May 29th.
To keep at home:
Cover Letter/Supply List (this is double sided) - Please keep it handy so that students know what to pack.
Visit Fairview Lake YMCA's website for details about the camp and check out the FAQs below for additional information. Email your child's homeroom teacher if you have any questions.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to the camping trip and hope your children do too!
