Welcome to 4th Grade!

Hello! Welcome to the 4th Grade Website. Check in frequently for updates on what we are learning in class and for information on special events.

Since 4th grade is a big transition for our students, we are going take some time to get to know each other, learn and practice new routines, and share 4th grade expectations. The first couple of weeks of the new school year, we will discuss what it means to have a growth mindset, what makes a great classmate, practice working in groups and stations, and work on transitions between classes. Beginning of year assessments will also be administered next week.

As students acclimate to switching classes, new expectations, and having more than one teacher, the 4th grade team will strive to make their experience a positive one in which they will learn and grow towards independence, self-management, and self-advocacy.
