New Jersey's Interdistrict Public School Choice Program allows approved public school districts to enroll out-of-district K-12 students at no cost to their families. By removing traditional geographic enrollment barriers, the program expands educational options and empowers families to choose the specific school environment that best matches their child's unique needs. 

Program Framework

• Tuition: Free for participating out-of-district families.

• Funding: State education funds follow the student to the choice district.

• Admissions: A blind lottery is used if applications exceed open seats.

Application and Eligibility
