Student Attendance:
E-Tag (ET) students ONLY on the first in class encounter with the student
Accurate attendance is taken and entered each hour
Note: if a student is present in your class 1-second or more, they are to be recorded as Tardy
Gradebook
Minimum of 1 entry per week in the grade book
Gradebook current and accurate
No weighting of "categories" (1 test point = 1 homework point)
Room Change
Inform students in advance
Place sign on door
Inform main office of the change
Emergency Folder (Red)
Maintain with current class rosters
Located visibly in class
Take attendance on each and every drill
Passes
No passes the first 10 and last 10 minutes of class
Must have pass to leave classroom
Passes include name, date, time, and teacher signature
"Subs Start Here" complete and in Sub Folder
Google Classrooms correctly labeled and shared
Seating charts in Sub Folder
Class Roster uploaded to Sub Folder
Chromebooks
Lock Chromebook carts every night
Report any lost or stolen Chromebook immediately (to Admin, Media Center, Deans, Mai, Hodan)
Maintain a log of daily Chromebook usage by students
Follow chrome cart policy (policy pending 2024 cart updates)
Classroom Phone
Your phone should be in working condition (remember, you said it was in your back-to-school check in!)
Your phone extension number should be in the Staff Directory
Program for 1-button call to Front Desk (door 18)
Program for 1-button call to Main Office
Ensure ringer is loud enough to hear while teaching
Calls will only break in for critical / medical issues
Voicemail
Set up your voicemail
Check your voicemail at least 1x per day
Website
Update your webpage with photo, syllabus, etc.
Document all parent communication using Polar Log
