Intensive Educational Programming serves students who have intensive social/emotional needs. These services use a small group setting and elements of a typical classroom to identify the triggers and social/emotional skill deficits that prevent a student from making social and academic progress. Once identified, staff implement intensive research based intervention strategies in a manner that takes students from learning and practicing in isolation to generalizing across settings in school, with the goal of students increasing levels of independence in self awareness, self management and decision making skills. Inclusivity is based on student strengths, interests, abilities, and modified outcomes and grading will be determined at each student’s IEP meeting on an annual basis.
