Programming for students ages three to five who are identified as having a Developmental Delay(DD) or other educational disability provides intensive instruction in a small classroom environment with high adult-to-student ratios. Students receive highly-individualized instruction based on the Minneapolis Public Schools Early Childhood Education curriculum and the goals and objectives outlined in a student’s IEP ratios. Instruction focuses on teaching and reinforcing targeted skills during classroom routines, using adaptations in the classroom, working in small groups, providing one-to-one interventions and assessments, and providing ongoing observation and documentation.
