Creative Media Production 1 allows students to learn announcing skills in an ‘on-air’ setting. You will write and record commercials, write and report news, and learn basic digital audio editing skills for radio broadcasting, podcasting, and more. You are then the DJ, Reporter, or Podcaster in a simulated studio setting using all your polished skills.
Creative Media Production 1 allows students to learn announcing skills in an ‘on-air’ setting. You will write and record commercials, write and report news, and learn basic digital audio editing skills for radio broadcasting, podcasting, and more. You are then the DJ, Reporter, or Podcaster in a simulated studio setting using all your polished skills.
Creative Media Production 2 and 3 continues where Creative Media Production 1 left off but dives deeper into podcasting and broadcasting by refining your skills. You will do interviews, talk shows, podcasts, and learn multi-track digital (non-linear) editing. You also spend time in the KBEM-Jazz 88 on-air studio broadcasting live or recording your voice for Jazz With Class, which airs weekdays from 9am - 3pm.
