Develop student achievement through the exploration of a traditional and modern band ensemble. Skills necessary to perform on brass, woodwind, percussion will be introduced, improved and enhanced. With an emphasis on the musical styles of the last 50 years, peer to peer development in the band setting and performing together cohesively as a single unit is emphasized. Students will be introduced to the art of Composition & Improvisation.
