Welcome to the first week of 'Outdoor Winter Activities'! Every school year in January we bundle up and go outside during PE. Our environment around Burroughs allows us a unique opportunity to introduce students to a variety of winter activities.

Students will share about all of the important clothes they need to wear in order to be safe and warm when they go outside and play during the winter. If they have time, we encourage them to practice putting on their winter clothes and play 'Winter Race'. And go play outside!

Cross Country Skiing and Snow Shoeing (K-5th)
Cross Country Skiing and Snow Shoeing (K-5th)
Students will be introduced to and learn about the basics of how Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing works. They will share at least one thing they learned or already knew from Seesaw. If students have their own equipment at home we encourage them to get outside and use it this week. If they do not, they can find a different activity to play outside when they are able.
