Congratulations Burroughs students, families and staff for participating in a great Burroughs PE tradition, “Week on Wheels” or “WOW”. Students submitted various creative ways to move with wheels while recording and submitting their total minutes for the week. Students showed how they moved by; biking, scootering, inline skating, skateboarding, pulling wagons, pushing baby strollers, pushing shopping carts and even vacuuming. There were a lot more creative examples which all totaled up to more than 24,000 total minutes. If we were to average 5 miles per hour while using our wheel toys, we would have traveled more that 2,000 miles; that would be like traveling from Burroughs School to San Diego California. That’s impressive, congratulations and nice work Burroughs go-getters!
