Developer Name

Your display name is one of the first cues about the reliability of your extension.

Requirements

Minimum length: 2 characters

Maximum length: 50 characters

Special characters (!@#$%^&*:"?><{}|) allowed but name should not be made up of only special characters.

If you haven't set a developer name, your name will be pulled from the manifest.

Create a name that reflects who you are or what you have created.
Make it easy to read and say.
Consider using your first and/or last name, the name of your company, or project.

Examples:

Raymond Hill

EFF Technologists

TunnelBear Inc.

Don't create a name looks like spam.
Don't use someone else's name, or a name that suggests you are associated with another person or company if you're not. So, if you create a Reddit-related extension, but it's not an official Reddit product, your developer name cannot be 'Reddit' or 'the Reddit team.'
