"Utopia or Dystopia? Are Genetically Modified (GM) crops important for our future or the beginning of the end"
TASK
When visiting the Eden Project use the booklet you have been given to gain evidence that will help you answer the EQ above.
You need to think in an analytical way and present an argument from both sides.
Things to think about:
-How can plants /crops effect the body?
-What are superfoods?
-What countries grow super foods?
-Is GM ethical?
-How is technology used to aid crop production?
-How does global wealth effect the production of these crops?
The above are questions you can research on the internet as secondary research but you will also have the opportunity to collect some primary research at the Eden Project.

REVIEW
The students today visited 'The Eden Project'. Students were set the above task and were then sent off in groups to collect the data. The students could look in the two biomes; the Mediterranean and Rain Forest.
The students had to look closely for the information within the plants and displays. This information is then used to complete their final outcome on Friday.
