in ELA we are reading the book , Charlie Hernandes and the league of shadows my goal for the beginning of the year was to focus on comprehensive and informational text . every time i am doing a ixl lesson I will always try to achieve what I will continue to try to achieve I am doing an exceeding every time I am doing a Ixl lesson and when we can choose what we want to work on I will choose this area. this year my informational text has gone up by 690-860.
for this project, I created a podcast. the learning target for this assignment was I can recognize how characters change/grow in a book, identify themes in a book, discuss how an important chapter from a book connects to a theme from the book. In this project we did a podcast about cal. this will help me in the future because it taught me how to work with patherns and how to write a script . We did this procjet so that we can demostrate what happend in the book.
On humanities we are working on our first excision and my goal for humanities is to help others and be respectful.

in this project we got the options of making a video, an extra chapter and podcast me and a partner did a video for this project i got a meets and I am proud of this couse we tryed to make it funny and that it contain infomation from the book and sometimes a little quote for this sumitive i use

For me the hardest part was writing the introduction, even though I knew how to do it. I didn't know how to start and grab the reader's attention and then make the second part of the bridge because I had to make a sentence that connected the Hook. Another part that was difficult for me was finding another part of information for the body paragraph. The part I liked the most about my essay was my body paragraphs because I liked it adding the info that i had and the quotes and i love doing the resechr about why schools should start at the standar time of 8:00.What I would tell a sixth grader researching their topic is that it is good to have information about the topic. This will help your paragraphs be longer and have more information.
