What is your definition of Confidence? and What is something that you have confidence in doing?

TPOL- How has your definition changed

The 6th grade lens is Confidence. At the beginning of the year, Confidence meant believing in yourself and believing you can do something hard even if you've never done it before to me. At the beginning of the year, One thing that I had grown in confidence this year was making friends. I have grown in this because this year I have made two really good friends in my grade which has always been hard for me.

How has your confidence developed during your sixth grade year?

By the end of this year, I have demonstrated confidence many many more times, and that is what I will be telling you about next. So out of all of the times I have demonstrated confidence this semester, I chose my top 2 to tell you about the first one. The first one is when I was confident and decided to aim for an exedds in the interstellar exhibition. This demonstrated confidence, because I was confident in my script and thought that I had enough information. My second example is that I’m not always alone, there are and always have been people out there just like me I just didn't know were, that is until i met roman, and after that i met ryne, and now i know that there are people out there like me, and i'm starting to met them. In this I demonstrated confidence by believing that no matter how weird and different I am, there are always other people out there, just like me.

SIGNIFICANT adult

Today I have invited my uncle Russell, because he is someone I admire and respect. I hope that in the future I can grow up to be like him and demonstrate the habits of heart and mind just as well as him. He demonstrates respect by respecting others wishes, even if he doesn't like then and he also respects others ideas, and example of this is how when ever we visit him he may want to do one thing with us but we had other plans and instead of fighting and saying his idea is better, he will listen to ours and respect it. He demonstrates integrity by always doing the right thing even if it is hard and no one is watching. One example of this is how even though he is a nerd, instead of buying things he wants, like cosplay stuff he checks with my auntie M first and if she says no he will listen. Then next habit of heart and mind he demonstrates is effort, he demonstrates this by always putting effort into his job, one very funny example of this is when we were visiting him once he was going somewhere for his job, he works for the clairvoyants, which are a magic show company, and in this example he forgot the bag of magic stuff, and instead of just leaving it and just saying sorry, he came all the way back to get it and then left again, i ended up naming it Kevin from home alone, we gave the case a name tag and everything. The last habit of heart and mind he demonstrates that I will be talking about today is refinement. He demonstrates his final habit of heart and mind by always trying to find the little errors in his character and constantly trying to improve with feedback from others. I try to be like this inspiring person in my life by always respecting others and doing the right thing while putting effort into refining my character.
