Project 1: elements of art COLLEGE - DEATH STAR SUPER LASER

 I used Shape by cutting out a diamond and folding it to make the wings of the x-wing, and I used a half oval, two squares, and four rectangles to make the a-wing. I used texture to make exploding ships, I used lots of color and, I used line in the Death Star blaster circle.

Project 2:  impressionist painting - sunset waterfall

My favorite part of this artwork was the technique I used to make the splashes, I liked this technique because it was really fun to actually splash the paint-water and I think it turned out really well. The personal connection in this piece of art is the sunset, because in my family, every time we see a sunset or a sunrise we say “happy sunset” (or happy sunrise.) another personal connection I have with this piece of art is that me and my family loves nature and we love waterfalls, one more personal connection I have with the waterfall is that this summer we went on a hike to a waterfall and we were able to go behind it, it was really fun and I got really wet... Ops, sorry kinda went off topic there, now where was I? That is why in this painting I added a dark silhouette behind the waterfall.

Project 3:  self portrait - sam's self portrait

This paragon falcon was inspired by my dream to go Mach 1 (or how ever fast you have to go to go back in time) and travel back in time, so I put this paragon falcon on the world record paper airplane for speed to show that it is going really fast, that's why it's on fire, the reason I chose a paragon falcon was because it is the fastest bird in the world (it can go 240 miles per hour during its dive).

This paragon falcon's dream is also to go back in time, and all the other paragon falcon's said it was impossible and that he was dumb for believing that it was possible, but he accomplished it and went back in time, and it only happened because he believed in himself and kept trying, so this shows that if you believe in yourself you can do anything.

My favorite thing about this art piece is the details, I worked really hard on it and made two ruff drafts, it was really fun to make and I think it turned out great.

I chose to remake the starry night but on mustafar, the Star Wars lava planet because it thought the tree thing looked kinda like earth vader's palace, it was really fun to make and I think that I captured the scene perfectly, it was really hard to get all the details of vader's palace but I think that I was able to do it pretty well.
