Confidence
My definition of confidence is, believing in yourself and believing you can do something hard even if you've never done it before.
One thing that I have grown in confidence this year is making friends, I have grown in this because this year I have made two really good friends in my grade which has always been hard for me.
1. One way I gained confidence in art class is how I now have confidence in my art skills because at the beginning of the year I did not think I was that good at drawing and painting, but because I kept trying and believing in myself I was able to become better at art.
2. One thing I gained confidence in personally is my singing voice because I had a theater class this year, and in it we made a musical, when I first started I knew a lot of the people but I didn't really have any friends, but then after a while I started making friends like Rex and Lili, and seeing some people from school that I recognized, like Noah, Elan, and Enzo. I also started believing in myself and singing with everyone during the song, and by the play I was confident in my singing voice.
1. While challenges and failures may seem bad they aren't, they can actually teach us a lot about ourselves and about our confidence, one personal example of this is how it used to be a challenge for me to read, but after a lot of encouragement and help from my peers I was able to start becoming confident in reading, and now I love it.
