My goal for humanities is to use feedback from others to improve my work. I will achieve this by trying to be more accepting and calm when people want to help improve my work.

In ELA we just finished the book charlie Hernandez and the League of Shadows My goal for the beginning of the year was to work on my vocabulary because out of all of my areas, vocabulary was the lowest, I think I did really well on this because I was able to improve a lot and during the middle of the year diagnostic vocabulary is my highest category. I think I have completly acomplished my goal, and I might need to set a new one.

For this project I created a timeline of native american boarding schools. The learning target was: "I can use research skills to develop a presentation from primary sources." I exceeded the learning target in this project because it was about making a timeline that has 6-7 examples of the native american boarding schools on canva, but instead of just making a normal timeline I made a video that had all of the dates. To complete this I had to work on it at home and spend a lot of time making it so that you have enough time to read it. I learned that in the future I need to use my time more wisely and focus more on the information in it then the how good it looks.
This assignment was about showing not telling (using descriptive language).

In this project we made a script that was made to be an alternate ending for the book Charlie Hernandez. I think I used respect the most because while had a hole plan in my head of how I wanted it to go, I still listened to Roman and used his ideas to. I really like how it turned out in the end.

In this project we were given a specific claim and if we were for or against it. I was for (pro) the claim "social media does more harm than good." I personally focused on cyber bullying and how it can negatively affect people. I think I definitely used effort the most because I worked really hard to make sure that all my evidence was credible and because I was not able to finish it in class, I stayed up from about 7:00 pm till 8:30pm.

I think the most challenging part of writing this essay was trying to remember to put it in the right format, like making sure that when I introduce evidence I need to say something along the lines of "according to the site _____ "
I think I'm better at writing the body paragraphs because I am really good at finding good sources and writing long paragraphs about my evidence.
I would tell my partners to not stress about the due date, and to just let your fingers type the words for you. I also suggested using shortcuts like Ctrl+alt+x for spell check. Lastly, I suggested trying to find as many sources as possible, and when you find a good source, duplicate the tab and then look for another.
I think I used integrity in this assignment the most and here's an example of how. In this example I didn't demonstrate my integrity in the essay itself , but more in the pre-presentation time. this is because right before the presentation I was getting my paper from my cubby I found someone from the other teams paper in my cubby and instead of reading it and cheating I gave it to them without looking at it aside from the names to see whos it was, I am going to go more into detail on this assignment in the effort section which I will be talking about next.
