My grade for quiz number 1 was a approaching because I got the wrong number of neutrons and what the atomic mass meant. Next time I think I could go a little slower or remember the difference between atomic mass and atomic number. The topics the quiz covered were elements mass and atomic number and protons, electron, neutrons , and electron shells.
The topics the quiz covered were ionic bonds, covalent bonds, physical change, chemical reactions. For the quiz I got a meets, I think I got a meets because I met most of the standards and understood what to do. I think next time I will read through the question more carefully to decipher what the text accualy is asking me and think it through logically.
One thing I learned from this assignment was what valance electrons are and what electron vacancies are and how to show that in a visual. On this assignment I got a grade of a meets The reason I got this grade was because I followed all the instructions and I used all the needed attributes to this poster. If I were to do this project again I would probably want to add more details and make it more appealing to the eye, like add more color or make some other things a little bigger. The reason I want to do this stuff is because in my opinion it does not look exhibition worthy and I could definitely make my sentances a little neater and make it less bland.
In this lab we expierienced endothermic and exothermic reactions we used some kind of tablets to make the water bubble and get colder and we put live yeast and it turned significantly hotter.
On the test I got an approaching plus, because I did most of the test correctly but I missed some questions and or did half the question correct and I got marked down on points. In the test I did the best in the conservation of mass section because I got all the questions correct on. I think the part I most struggled with was types of chemical reactions because I didn't really understand which equations are which. My goal for the next science test is to try to read the through carefully and take each question through multiple times to double check myself. and to try to get more conformable with the content so I can bust through that specific question I am having a hard time with. I think I can achieve this goal by going through what I don't get multiple times and ask for a teachers guidance with it and taking my time.
