i-Ready Beginning of Year DP Reflection
My overall grade level was late 8th, my overall score was 674, and my score was in the 95th percentile. In I-ready I got the highest in comprehension of informational text,I was placed in grade 9. I scored the lowest in comprehension of litature, In that I got a at mid 8th. By the end of the year i-Ready test, I want to score in the 9th grade level. I will do this by forcing myself to read more litature and work more on vocab by memorizing and finding new words and learning the meanings. Also finding litature that is intresting to me.
Socratic seminar #1
In the seminar it covered the book macbeth and the connections between macbeth and the american revolution time, modern time and our principles, virtues, values and american identity. In the soctartic seminar I got a meets because I followed most of the socratic seminar procedures and norms. I think for the socratic seminar I could talk more, give more quotes in the seminar, adding on more , giving more of an anylisis for the quotes,giving invitations into the conversations , and dominating the conversation.
