In E.L.A we are reading charlie Hernandez. My goal for the beginning of the year was to get better at comprehension of non fiction and to get better at writing. I have achieved my goal by going slow and going through it on i.x.l. Now I have reached my goal because i'm at 640 with it. so i'm going to focus on weakest which is grammar and mechanics.

For this project I created the extra chapter. The learning target for this project was, I can make inferences about the characters, draw conclusions about the plot, and apply a plot diagram to my creative writing. The extra chapter was about what extra chapter can you make that is suspenseful and related to the story. Also a better ending than the end chapter. I met my target by doing the plot mountain and making it suspenseful. I completed the project by using the plot mountain and going off the story. I could use this in the future, when I grow up and I have to have a book done in this amount of time and I cant have it done late

I prepared for the debate by trying to find a reliable source and then to find a good explanation to support my claim. I did not win the debate because I think we had no good rebuttals and we didn't communicate and we didn't have a strong conclusion. I used respect by respecting that they won and that we didn't have a strong enough evidence and facts.
