We learned about functions and how to find a function in any graph or function notation.
I got a meets on this test which I am proud of, Because of some technical difficulties with the test as it was on a computer I originally got a developing but we worked it out and my grade was changed to a meets. I am happy I went through the process of figuring out what went wrong whether it be mine or the computers fault in order to get a better grade.
math is very important in many ways learning new skills, understanding subjects, and even making mistakes. everything makes our minds grow we learn from being introduced to subjects and making a mistake whether you are aware or not aware of it. The math people myth is a myth that states that some people are naturally good at math and others will never get a grasp of the subject. This is not true in any way math is a subject to be learned not something you are born with. I personally feel as if math is an important subject that must be learned but can also be overwhelming at times. I think that a math mindset can also be improved over time for example many people had a bad math mindset when they were younger but it has improved over time. Some steps I can take to improve my math mindset is to make small steps for improving like trying to understand small parts of a subject at a time. I can also get help from my teachers or peers to understand subjects
In this math test I thought I was pretty well versed in the subjects but I was apparently wrong. I ended up getting a bad grade that I was not proud of. I ended up going back and improving my grade to a high meets which I am proud of.
My delta math link
in Iready math I was mostly on grade level but surpassed in some areas. I am fairly proud of this and was able to make it into advanced math. Overall I got a 530 score and an on grade final score with an 84th percentile score.
My overall grade was a meets- I am not fully proud of this grade and feel that I could of done slightly better. I understand where I went wrong in most of the problems and understand how I will do better in the future.
In this final I got a grade I am not proud of. I got a really bad 64% grade and that made me sad and I wish I could do better the first time. I ended up going back and fixed my grade to 70% or an approaching which I am not fully proud of. I will commit to trying even more to do better on the math 2 final
Algebra Long-Term Learning Target:
I can proficiently analyze, model, and solve problems involving equations, inequalities, and systems across multiple representations (algebraic, graphical, tabular, and contextual), correctly justifying my reasoning and interpreting the solution to demonstrate readiness for the Math 1 Final Exam.
Algebra Long-Term Learning Target (Math 2): I can proficiently analyze quadratic functions across all forms (standard, vertex, and intercept) to identify key features (vertex, axis of symmetry, intercepts, domain, range, maximum/minimum value) and solve them algebraically, graphically, and contextually to model and predict real-world phenomena
We are learning how to make a perfect square using a formula as well as quadratic equations on and off a graph.
I was not happy at all with this test, I honestly really thought i would get a good grade because I really tried my best throughout this entire unit. I got a development which I am not proud of at all because I tried my best but apparently if I try my best I will still fail. I hope to do better next time and can hopefully bump up my grade using test corrections.
