respect

My goal for respect is to be more open to more people in my school life as well as my home life.

I will accomplish this goal by going up to more people and trying to open up not only in but outside of school as well.

integrity

My goal for integrity is I want to work on trying to be a role model for others

I want to put time into refining myself in order to be a role model for others.

effort

my goal for effort is to understand all the subjects that i’m learning.

I will put time and effort at home and in school to make this happen.

refinement

my goal for refinement is I want to make sure that all of my assignments are turned in on time

I will make sure this happens by looking in my infinite campus for missing assignments.

Internship reflection

I interned at the magpies newsstand, They make lots of drinks, gelato and supply durango with the news. I chose this location because I've always loved the drinks there and loved how local and in town the store was. I learned how to make all the drinks and most importantly how to interact with customers in a customer service setting. This internship helped me branch out socially in a work setting talking to strangers in the workplace. I think I made an impact by being nice and talking to everyone that came in there to make them feel comfortable and at home.

significant adult in your life

My inspiring community member is someone very close to me, My brother Lukas Bayer, he has done so much for me and there are so many reasons he is my role model. He has always been there to talk to me about whatever is going on in my life. He has taught me so much about how to be a kind and caring person and has shown me that even when things get hard, never give up. He has shown me that kindness isn't loud but slow and constant. He never gives up no matter what it is he is facing and that's why he is so inspiring to me. He shows all 4 habits of heart and mind everyday. He chose integrity to be honest when he made a mistake time and time again. He chose effort by always being present in mine, and all his family's and friends lives. He always is respectful towards his peers, family, friends, and even complete strangers. He refines himself everyday to try and shape himself into the person he wants to be. He always makes sure to balance his family friends and working towards his work and dreams which shows all 4. Just one more out of so many reasons he shows respect is by always being there when anyone needs him.
I try to be like Lukas by being kind and compassionate, being there for the ones I love, and showing all habits of heart and mind.
