In this assignment we picked an element 1-20 on the periodic table. I picked Helium. Then, you drew the element symbol, the atomic number, the atomic mass,  the element name, and then you had to define everything. Then for the next part of the assignment, we drew the atom of our element with protons, neutrons, electrons and the nucleus.

In this assignment we were assigned an element on the periodic table. I was assigned Oxygen, and you were supposed to add the periodic group of your element, a diagram of the element square, a model of the oxygen atom, where it is found, and common chemical reactions that use your element. On this assignment I got an approaching because I was Missing explanations of what numbers/symbols mean on element square and atom diagram. I was also missing the reference box.

In the lab when the pencil and the battery were connected and added to salt water. There were hydrogen and oxygen pencils. You could tell the pencil that was hydrogen was hydrogen because of its positive charge and you could tell the pencil that was oxygen was oxygen because of its negative charge.

Atoms are held together in different molecules because of covalent and ionic bonds. Different atoms have different charges either positive or negative charges.

I got a meets on this assignment. 

In this lab, there was a plastic bag filled with water and an alka seltzer tablet. They were both weighed separately and their weight was added up. What happened next was the alka seltzer tab was put in water and once it evaporated we put it back on the scale and it was supposed to weigh the same. I got a meets on this assignment.

For our final project, we presented chemical reactions. I presented elephant toothpaste, and we talked about the bonds, the type of reaction, the reactants and products, etc... I got a meets because I meet the expectations on the info graphic, the exhibition presentation, the visual model, and individual effort, refinement, and participation. My goal for the next project is to get an exceeds in at least one or more of the categories.
