I would like to read 10 minutes more at home each day, so 30 minutes at home total. I would like to make this a habit by December and I will keep a log to make sure I'm doing it.
My goal was to read 10 minutes more at home, so 30 minutes at home total. I would keep a log to make sure I’m following through.
What inspired me to make this goal is how I should read more and even 10 minutes more is working on that step by step. I think I did pretty well with this goal in general. I would usually read about 30 minutes at home. The only thing I didn’t do was keep a log. I forgot about that part of my goal so next time I’ll keep a log. The thing I’m most proud of was that I actually stuck to my goal and read for 30 min. A book I finished reading was One of Us is Lying. At home, I finished a book called Out Of My Mind. So, so far, that's 2 books that I finished.
Letter to my future self...
Hi future Liv! This is 7th grade Liv writing this letter. I spend most of my time drawing, hanging out with my friends, and let's be honest, on TikTok. I also mountain bike once a week. I’m not the best at it but that’s ok. I also love hiking, skiing, and stuff like that so if you picked up any new activities then awesome! School is ok. I think my social life is better though. I’m getting average grades so that’s pretty good. I’m at my mom’s when I’m writing this letter, she’s awesome. We signed up to become fosters but nothing has really happened yet. But I do really miss Frankie and Cheeto a lot. Seeing them every other week isn’t enough. Did we get any other pets sense then? There are quite a few important people to me but right now if I… lets say…. Won a Grammy, then I would thank, Dad, Mom, Sage, Serena, Kevin, Brooklyn, Ashliegh, (everyone in my class but especially Brooklyn and Ashliegh.), all my teachers, Mountain middle school, and Durango, Colorado. The advice I would give to you is, follow your heart and your instincts and also make lots of money. The best advice I can give though is, live a life you will remember. You never know what’s to come.
-Love,
7th grade Liv
