I interned at Animas Chocolate Company. ACC is a chocolate company that makes all of there chocolates in store and handcrafts each truffle and bar by hand. The purpose of the business is to create chocolate that doesn't have all the the processed oils and extra ingredients that others have. I chose this location because I really love chocolate and I thought that this shop would be a great place to intern because of that love for sweets. Throughout my internship the major lesson that they wanted me to take away was to always speak up and ask questions during interviews or while working. This internship really inspired me to learn about my passion for cooking and baking a lot more. I felt that I made an impact on my community by giving them something to make their day at least a little better.
