Accelerated Math

In Accelerated Math we are doing high school math 1 and 2.

Math 1

Math 1 Long-Term Learning Target: I can proficiently analyze, model, and solve problems involving equations, inequalities, and systems across multiple representations (algebraic, graphical, tabular, and contextual), correctly justifying my reasoning and interpreting the solution to demonstrate readiness for the Math 1 Final Exam.

Math Test Reflection #1

This test was about inequalities, equations, and variables. I got an 82% on the test which is a meets. A goal i would like to set for my self is to study harder. I didn't study that hard for the test that much so i didn't do my best. Test Link

I-ready Reflections

My final overall grade level and score is Early 8th grade. This means that I tested at an early 8th grade level at the beginning of the school year. The percentile I scored was 78th percentile. The lowest domain I scored in was Numbers and Operations, I got Grade 7. All of the other domains I got Early 8th grade. My goal for the last I-ready test is to get high school level math domains.

Delta Math

Delta Math is something we do every week. It is assigned on Thursday, and we have the weekend and until next Thursday to finish it. She puts assignments on there that we either struggle with or will do in the following lessons to prepare us.

Functions Test Reflection

The topics that this test covered functions on graphs, word problems, in tables, and in equations. I got a grade of meets- on this test because I forgot a bunch of just little things while solving the problems. The parts I found the easiest were the equations and finding x. My goal for my next test is to get a meets or meets+. My other goal not relating to my grade is to keep my practice test until the night before so I can remember how to solve the harder problems.

Math 1 Final

i got an 88% on this test, but overall on this test I got a meets +. My goal for my Math 2 final is try take more time to figure each problem out and find my mistakes and try to figure out what im doing wrong. To prepare better for the next test I want to take each class more seriously to retain what im learning better.

Math 2

Math 2 Long-Term Learning Target: I can proficiently analyze quadratic functions across all forms (standard, vertex, and intercept) to identify key features (vertex, axis of symmetry, intercepts, domain, range, maximum/minimum value) and solve them algebraically, graphically, and contextually to model and predict real-world phenomena

Quadratic Research

In this project we dived deeper into quadratics in specific real life examples. Me and my partner Gillian chose the example about a satellite where the parabola opens up.
