You will need :

Wide Lined paper Pencils Black marker pen Ruler Compass or print out Mandala Bright Felt tip pens template (link on next page_

What is a mandala? Watch the video to learn about how people make them with sand. You will also learn about radial symmetry.

Task 1 Using wide lined paper, create 10 or more pattern designs that you would like to use in your own Mandala art. Practice making sure that all of your shapes are the same size all the way along the line
