You will need :
Pencils A4 paper Printed repeating pattern sheet
Ruler Coloured felt tips Squared paper
Scissors Tracing paper Something circular to use as a template to draw around.

Design your own linear repeated patterns
Design your own linear repeated patterns

Watch the video about rotational symmetry.
Design your own rotational symmetry pattern either using squared paper, or the tracing method in the video. Make sure that your lines are exactly the same in each section. If using squared paper, count the squares as you go and check where is line is passing through the square. When each section is joined it should make a circular pattern like in the image examples.
Draw a large circle on the paper first and draw 8 equal sections using a ruler for your design. Make sure each line goes through the centre point.
When it is drawn , carefully colour your design using felt tips.

When you have finished your work, post a photo on the Jamboard for everyone to see.
