How we work

Ways of Working

We believe that most of us do our best work when we work together, but we know that everyone works in different ways, and quite frankly, has other commitments and responsibilities outside of work.

As we further adjust  to hybrid working, we want to take what we've learnt from working remotely and keep the flexibility that's enabled us to thrive and keep driving our business forward.

We have some core principles which support us in this:

We understand ways of working can look different based on your role, team and you as an individual so we are here to support and discuss this with you during the interview process.

Our Ways of Working Principles

Do what's right

We think about our culture and what’s best for our team & the company when making choices to work flexibly. We trust you to make decisions that work for your schedule AND your team.

Trust & give permission

Line managers start from a place of trust and with the assumption that the way we get work done can be flexible unless there’s a good reason why it can’t be.

Delivery matters

The choices we make around flexibility should always enable us to deliver our best work - both individually and on a team level.

We believe in…

To help you make decisions that will enable us to be at our best, we’ve developed some principles to clarify our new ways of working. This is new to all of us, so we pledge to review our WoW often, make amendments where needed and communicate feedback.

We want you to pledge to be flexible and bear with us as we find the right way for us!

Reminders

Everyone is different

Our ways of working can look very different based on your role, your team and your projects. It’s up to teams to discuss and agree how they can make flexibility work for them.

Give & take

It’s on all of us to make working flexibly a success for everyone. We go the extra step to make sure nobody - regardless of where or when they are working - misses out on important information or opportunities.

Clear communications is key

It’s more important than ever that we verbalise where and when we’re working (and of course when we’re not), as well as any needs, wants and requests - so for example, if you need a meeting to be face-to-face, make sure you include this information when you send the invite.

So what does all this mean?

It’s all about making flexibility work for us, and the plan is to do this in two ways:
