PIKMYKID registration will be available Thursday, August 28

At the end of the day, to ensure the safety of our students, we will only release your child to you or to a person designated by you through the PikMyKid app.  Kindergarten students who ride the bus or attend the Montvale Child Care program (MCC) are escorted by adults to the Kindergarten Annex in the morning, and to the multi-purpose room (bus students and MCC) in the afternoon.

To ensure that every student has a safe dismissal, our school uses the PikMyKid application.  For instructions on how to access and set up your account, please see the instructions HERE (instructions can also be found below).  All dismissal routines or changes in a child’s usual dismissal procedure must be updated in the PikMyKid application.  Please ensure that you set up and update your PikMyKid account prior to the start of school.  Once logged in, you will be able to designate your child’s “default” dismissal option, which reflects their most used daily dismissal routine.  Any other specific daily changes may be made on the specific date.

Please note that after September 10th, the option to set or change the default dismissal in the app will no longer be available. Any changes to their default after that date must be made by contacting the secretaries in the Main Office directly.

Please note that these procedures do not apply to our preschool students. The preschool

procedures will be communicated separately by your child's teacher.

If your child is leaving school early for any reason, you still need to send a note to the teacher informing them as there is no notification option for early pickup in the app. 

● Dismissal changes and parental delegations for any given day can be made until 2:30 p.m. using the app.  After 2:30 p.m., all emergency changes must be called in to the Main Office, however, we do prefer that you try your best to utilize the app.  Teachers do not have the ability to make dismissal changes.  On early dismissal days, changes can be made until 12:30 p.m., after which time, you must call the Main Office.

● Each parent/caretaker who will be picking up your child(ren) must have the PikMyKid

app installed on his/her phone and must have created an account.

● If someone other than a child’s parent or guardian is picking up the child, the parent or guardian need to “delegate” the pick up to another person on the app.
